When to book a service
- A new bike at around 300 km or 3 months (the first service)
- Once a year, or every 1,000 km on an e-moto

What a service is for
Servicing catches wear while it is cheap to fix: loose fasteners, chain and sprocket wear, worn brake pads, tired bearings and damaged connectors.
The Basic Service covers safety and torque checks, chain, brakes, suspension and headset, wiring and connectors, an error-code check and a test ride.
The Full Service adds refreshed brake fluid, a deep-cleaned chain, bearing and play checks and a full controller, motor and battery diagnostic check.

Labour prices; parts extra unless stated. All work quoted and approved before we start. Workmanship guaranteed for 3 months.
We don't derestrict road-legal e-bikes. We only work on EAPC e-bikes to UK rules (250 W, 15.5 mph) and will not derestrict road e-bikes or road-registered e-motos. Performance upgrades are for off-road bikes used on private land only, with a signed waiver.
Questions we get asked
When does a new Sur-Ron or Talaria need its first service?
Around 300 km or 3 months, whichever comes first. It is a running-in service to Sur-Ron's schedule (£75), and it is free on bikes bought from RJSXtreme.
How often should I service my e-moto after that?
Annually or every 1,000 km for the Full Service (£135). The Basic Service (£89) suits a mid-year check for bikes that are ridden hard.
Are parts included?
No. Prices are for labour, and parts are extra unless the listing says otherwise (for example the gearbox oil change includes the oil). You get a written estimate before any work starts.
Can you collect my bike?
Yes. Collection and return is £25 in Zone 1 (King's Lynn PE30–PE34), £45 in Zone 2 and £69 in Zone 3, and it is free with a Full Service in Zone 1.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes, workmanship is guaranteed for 3 months.
