They may void or limit your warranty and may affect your insurance, and we ask you to sign a waiver. High-voltage batteries and controllers are supplied and fitted by us only, never sold for home fitting. We never modify road-registered bikes or EAPC e-bikes.

Upgrade FAQ
It can. Power upgrades (controller, battery, motor) take the bike outside the manufacturer's specification and may void or limit the manufacturer warranty on the affected parts. Mechanical upgrades such as suspension, brakes and wheels are less likely to, but check with us first. We'll tell you before you commit. Our own fitting carries a 3-month workmanship guarantee.
Only on private land with the landowner's permission, or at permitted venues. The bikes we upgrade are off-road machines. We never upgrade road-registered bikes or derestrict EAPC e-bikes. You may need to tell your insurer about modifications.
No. High-voltage batteries and controllers are supplied and fitted by us only, never posted out for home fitting. That way we can match the battery, controller, charger and wiring, then load-test the result.
Yes, for mechanical parts like forks, shocks, brakes, wheels and sprockets, at our labour prices. We don't fit customer-supplied batteries, because we can't vouch for their cells or BMS.
The 2026 Light Bee X is already a 72V bike, so the 72V conversion doesn't apply. We quote controller and battery upgrades individually once we've confirmed which parts are compatible. Aftermarket support for the new Light Bee 2 X is still arriving, so ask us and we'll tell you honestly what's available.

Most mechanical upgrades take a day or less once the parts are in. Power packages usually take 1–2 days including set-up and testing. Lead times depend on parts availability, which we confirm in your quote.
Yes. We quote Talaria Sting and Sting R upgrades individually, because parts and fitment differ from Sur-Ron.
Off-road use only. The Sur-Ron, Talaria, RFN and E RIDE PRO bikes offered here (all off-road versions) are not road legal in the UK. They must not be used on public roads, pavements, bridleways or public land. Use them only on private land with the landowner's permission or at permitted venues.
